San Manuel is well known for not only high quality coffee but it’s beautiful churches and cool climate. Most people in San Manuel rely on coffee for their income. Each farmer’s coffee lot is processed right after picking. The coffee cherry is then de-pulped in a traditional de-pulper and the following day is washed in wood or concrete canals before being dried on a tarpaulin or patio for an average of 12 – 15 days.
